Waiting For Godot

Tree and human are the part of nature. Vladimir and Estragon pass time as they are waiting for the person named Godot who does not come. All goes here monotonous and noone moves and no one come like Godot

4. Debris itself means destruction and that was spread after world war and it is symbolically represented by the debris. The pain that was prevailed by the destruction.

5. The play opens with sentence 'Nothing to be done' that was spkeken many times. This two characters The dialogue nothing to be done suggests their boredom. Whatever they did was forcefully just for placing time. This waiting is so frustrating that they even decided to be hanged on tree. Repeating  scenes, same dialogues and absence of theme gives feeling of nothingness.

7. The playing with hats and boots is also interesting because one who plays with boots is not intelligent.but hat man is more a thinker.

10. Yes, the subject of the play is waiting rather than Godot. Samuel Beckett said in question of who is Godot? that if I knew, I would have said in the play. This also suggests that Godot is not a prime concern, but waiting is important. Each and every person wants for something. Some for success, some for money, some for fame, some for Freedom. This waiting is what keeps man alive. If there is no desire of anything, then maybe life is nothing. So this waiting is subject of the play and by this idea Beckett gives his message.

12. Vladimir's conversation with boy is more lively, interesting and eye catching than any other things in the play. After some time of beginning we come to know that two men who are passing time are waiting for someone named Godot. This raises question who is this Godot. In whole the play only Vladimir and boy's conversation is the only source where we can learn something about Godot. So that conversation raises interest of spectators. So this is

14. Vladimir and Estragon think to hang themselves. If we read it as existential reader we can say that this idea of suicide is existential idea.

It is the representation of the Theater of Absurd, the meaninglessness of time, place and identity. According to Michael Billington, The Birthday Party is a deeply political play about the individual’s imperative need for resistance.
