 Introduction :
‘Black skin and white mask’ is a book about the philosophy of racism by Frantz fanon – a psychiatrist and black, post colonist, thinker. It is his PhD thesis in which he resist against the white man’s mentality towards black men. It is ignored but after the death of the author, it was most celebrated. It is also the post-colonial study. The book was forced to be created as Fanon experienced the racism as black man.
It studies how colonialism is internalized by the colonizer.  There is inferiority complex. The pathos of black men and their surrender to white men. Mainly it focuses on the inequality in treatment. That is like now inner built in the behavior of man.
The study is of post colonialism. So we first understand the meaning of it.
The literature which was written during colonialism period and the depiction of suffering of colonized person because of colonizers.
There are total 8 chapters in ‘Black skin and white mask’.
1.   THE BLACK MAN AND THE LANGUAGE
The black person tries to learn white man’s language. As they would be considered as white person


The Negro will become whiter-become more human as he masters the white man’s language.

The person who came back from France after getting education. They behave as if they are not  of their natives but became a white. As they are speaking French, a white man’s language.

But it is their presentation, they still considered black and become the depressive because of white man’s treatment to them. They are not vanished as Black. But they are still black.
This chapter mainly focuses on language and its presentation in post colonialism.
2. THE WOMAN OF COLOUR AND WHITE MAN  

The name of chapter is itself a being of racism in life of Black. The Black woman feels inferior to marry black person. They think of marring white person, as they want to be white. This thinking of vanishing the racism from life shows their inferiority complex that prevailed in their mind.
This chapter covers the psychology of Black woman and their desire to marry white woman.
It is life if Black woman marries white man. They are at the point of imagination world as she thinks white man’s world as the imagination of her dream.
3)THE MAN OF COLOUR AND THE WHITE WOMAN

It is also like the last chapter ,here Black man wants to marry white man.
They want to be white. It can be possible by making the relationship by marring White.
It is post colonialist concept which is also presented in many movies like Lagaan, wherein the Black is attracted towards White person.
4) THE SO CALLED DEPENDENCY COMPLEX
This chapter focuses on racism, as Fanon says, the Blacks want to be white because white man discriminated and the inferiority complex. Black wants to be white.
5) The lived experience of the Black man

This chapter is focusing on the struggle of Black man and they are suffering to be called man.The Black thinks they are suffering be called man.
The black thinks, they are suffering because of their colour. They are not humans as per the view of White.
“They are Black”
It is like hurting them.
They are black and black is like colour of “sin” and white is concerned for virtue.

6) THE BLACK MAN AND PSYCHOPATHOLOGY

This chapter talks about the white man’s fear from black man. The white men are afraid of black because they think that the black would grab white woman. They are more passionate in sex than white.
7)THE BLACK MAN AND RECOGNITION

And they now in the side of white and put their own Black man down and pretend to be happy.

8) THE LAST CHAPTER IS LIKE HE IS GIVING SOLUTION
                  BY THE WAY OF CONCLUSION
                Black and white should try to remove the inequality between them. These superiority and inferiority complexes should be vanished from their mind.
