( 1 ) How far do you agree with the India represented in the novel The White Tiger ?

Ans. M.Q. Khan argues that it is about Adiga’s India but it is not everybody’s India. But we can only come to a conclusion by criticizing the aspect it also leads to appreciation in future. Adiga has the realistic point of view in portraying the situation. The story of Balram is itself the soul of the novel as it is the story of rough to rich .the half backed person in society is led towards the pro0sperity by his entrepreneurship. The criticism of every aspect of life is there as we as India known as country of problems. So there is no exaggeration in the novel the India and its root like education system ,upbringing, corruption are well represented by the writer.

( 2 ) Do you believe that Balram’s story is the archetype of all stories of ‘rags to riches’?

Ans. Yes, Balram’s story is the archetype of all stories of ‘rags and riches’. As he becomes prosperous person of country from an auto rickshaw driver. The Indians who are much progressed we may say that they would have passed under the circumstances when they would have led to do wrong work because there is not lie in doing that it’s the post truth idea. So the story showcases the post truth idea. The response of a person is itself the reality there is no truth but the post truth and the fact itself.
